| This is a 1971 Chevrolet Corvette that I bought 5 or 6 years ago. The car is a 350 V8 with an automatic transmission. The car runs and drives good. The air condition is all there but does not work. I have never tried to get it working. We recently replaced the master cylinder. The carpet is not that old but is not glued down. The seats are leather. The hide away headlights work good. The windshield wipers do not lift the cowl when turned on. You have to use the manual over ride under the dash. The right front grille is cracked. The paint has marks all over it which probably should be expected for 40 years old. The tach does not work either. I've never taken the time to look at it. The gas gauge works sometimes. I just fill it up every time I drive it. The car has 77,757 miles on it now. When I bought the car I noticed the guy I bought it from purchased it in 1974. I assume he was the second owner but I'm not certain. The car is fun to drive. I usually don't take it out in the rain but have been caught in the rain from time to time. The "T" tops do not leak. The car has current PA inspection. I think it would be a nice car to restore or just drive it as it is. I think I've listed everything about the car but may have missed something. Anyone is welcome to come take a look at the car. The car is in Chambersburg, Pa. |
