1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible with 2 tops, 350 engine. There is an optional completely rebuilt 427 engine that CAN BE purchased separately to go with this car, it is listed in our eBay store. It is an original Corvette engine. (eBay item no 200627649511 The optional 427 engine, there is no carburetor with the engine, no distributor, and there is a new water pump, fuel and oil pump included. It is listed for sale in a separate ad but would be a great match for this car, if you are interested in the bigger engine. After a test run of this car .. I can say WOW. It is such an impressive performance car, that is certainly a head turner. The sexy Vette starts quickly and runs sound, providing a thrill just sitting in it. It shifts smooth and handles very nicely at 55 to 65; has a slight amount of play in the wheel and all systems are go on the dash, and all lights are fine too. The paint has a few flaws, some touch up areas have been done to the car also. It is a beautiful bright yellow color or “Daytona” yellow. The body is in great condition, no cracks at all just a few spots where the paint is fading, and an area on the door where the paint has cracked somewhat. The driver door area has a quarter inch gap where the door meets the frame on the lower side of the door. The car does not have power steering. There is after market chrome exhaust, and the exhaust may have a small leak, as there is a slight noise from the exhaust area as well. The rims are the original rims. Interior is in excellent condition, as truly is like new condition. The original transmission is in this car (Known as the ‘rock crusher) - a nearly wear proof transmission. The engine in the car is not the original but is a Corvette engine. There is a very small oil leak in the 350 engine in the car now. Lights lift fine, and the dash is excellent too. Passenger door lock/unlock button is missing. Tires have 20% wear at most. This car is being sold by a local collector who is a dealer and 7% sales tax is part of this sale.
