Car history: |
1969 427/435 Aluminum Head, Coupe Let Me start Off By Saying I Am A Retired Private Party Collector And Hobbyist Here In South Florida. I Am Not A Dealer Nor Do I Play Games Or Use Smoke And Mirrors To Advertise A Car. Each Car Will Be Correctly Described Without Any Surprises. All Cars Are Either From My Personal Collection Or Belong To Friends Or Dealer Friends Of Mine Who Ask Me To Advertise Their Cars For Them. All Cars Are Priced According To Their Condition, Options, Documentation And Rarity In Todays ever Changing Market And Are Available Without Any Frivolous Markups Saving You Thousands. This Particular Vehicle Comes To Me From A Good Friend And Dealer Who Took It In On Trade For A Supercharged 2010 Camaro. After Really Listening To It Run He Knew It Needed Some Work And Decided To Have it Gone Over And As It Always Happens It Needed More Than The Usual Tune Up. The Drive Train Was Removed and Completely Rebuilt To Original 427/435 Specs. The Heads Were Newer Winters Snowflake Castings Which Leads Us To Believe The Car Was An Original Iron Head 435 And Re Stamped To Resemble An L89 When The Aluminum Heads Were Added. There Are No Power Features So It Was Most Likely Ordered As A Go Fast Car As Most 435s Were Back In The Day And This Being The Last Year For The Solid Lifter 427 Engine. It Does Have The AM/FM Radio And Head Rest Leather Seats With Shoulder Harnesses Making The Cabin Nice And Comfy During Those Famous Stop Light To Stop Light Take Offs. The Car Itself Is In Great Condition, Not A Trailer Queen So It Can Be Driven Without Worrying If Its Going To All Of A Sudden Start Pouring During The Day. The Chassis And Bottom Of The Car Are Rust Free And Are Also In Very Good Condition. The Engine Compartment Is Also Nicely Detailed And Only Has Around A Hundred Miles Or So On The Rebuilt Motor.
From Everything We See It Is A True BB Car But There Is No Documentation To Prove It. The Pictures Tell The Story (One Pic Is Worth A Thousand Words) So Have Fun Viewing Them And Call Or Write With Any Of Your Questions And If You Decide To Come See This Car I Think You Will Be Pleasantly Pleased. As With All The Cars I Market This One Is Being Sold As Is Where Is And Is Available For Inspection By Appointment Only. The Seller And I Assume No Responsibility For Any Repairs or Representations Regardless Of Type (Oral or Written) After Purchase Is Completed.
I Will Be Happy To Answer Any And All Questions. Thank You. Ric
