Engine details: |
The tank sheet says L36 next to engine, but the options list L68 as an option. The car came to me with the tri-power intake on it, but the intake and carbs look newly restored. The previous owner told me that the original owner, a racer, removed the tri-power intake and replaced it with a four barrel intake and carb. The original setup was then sold. The second owner who built the car for NCCC, built the engine to 500+HP with a solid cam and lifters. |
Other details: |
Very clean underneath. Low miles showing. The car may have been "race only" all it's life. Appears by the date codes to be all original drivetrain. Second owner did some bolt on modifications and rear gear change. I have the original parts in a box. |

Car history: |
At some point in it's life, this car was raced at the Darlington international Dragway in South Carolina. I'm still trying to find out more about it's earlier life, but the car was pulled from a barn along with two other partial 69's and rebuilt for NCCC autocrosses in the nineties and the engine was built to L88 spec.s at that time. Also the car was painted white around then. If you know anything about this car, feel free to e-mail me at labargep@gmail.com |
