Car history:
I am selling my 1969 big block corvette. I bought it 11 years ago from my neighbor who had it 10 years and has only had about 2,000 mile put on it in all that time. So it sits alot. The car is solid, runs good and has had one repaint about 22 years ago. The 427 engine is NOT numbers matching because it was replaced within its first year under warranty, casting number CE 67829, otherwise its an all original tri-power car. The car has a factory close ratio 4 speed manual Trans, factory side pipes, shoulder harnesses, T-top, removable back window, luggage rack, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, No frills just BIG Power. The car is in good condition except the windshield has a crack in it on the passenger side, small crack by driver door. Pictures don't show well but the paint is shinny and looks good for 22 years old. I did add power steering off a 69 vette and I added an aluminum radiator for better cooling. I have all the original parts to put it back original. All the vacuum stuff works, headlights, etc. The radio crackles but does not seam to work. The tires are like new, but 22 years. The car has always been stored indoors. I dropped the fuel tank and found the tanks sticker, or alot of it. The car is a true L68 400 HP, tri-power big block car. The 2003 on the sticker confirms the last digits match the vin#. 194379S722003. The car has been throughly inspected to confirm it has never been hit or repaired. We put the car on a lift and confirmed the car is very clean, all original, never taken apart and has never been hit or damaged. The car is in very good condition. I live 70 miles outside of Reno NV. on the California side, yes in the dry desert. $29,500. April 2, 2013.
