1969 CORVETTE, !! L-88 EXACT CLONE !! THIS CAR IS BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY. ENGINE EST. 10K MILES SINCE INSTALLED, LS 7 CRATE ENGINE 460HP, 850 cfm HOLLEY DOUBLE PUMPER, HOOKER FULL LENGHT HEADERS AND SIDE EXHAUST, STOCK BIG BLOCK DISTRIBUTOR, CHROME ALTERNATOR, ORIGINAL STYLE AIR CLEANER AND FILTER, ALUMINUM RADIATOR, BIG BLOCK RUNS COOL AND NO OVER HEATING, NO BUGS IN THE SYSTEM. This engine is like new and runs as expected. It is an amazing piece of art waiting to be driven. I have only put a few miles on it and have loved every minute of it. Transmission rebuilt and like new: THE TRANS IS MATCHING NUMBERS WITH THE CAR, SHATTER PROOF BELLHOUSING AND I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL, NO LEAKS OR DRIPS AT ALL. LINKAGE IS SMOOTH & SHIFTS FLAWLESSLY, ORIGINAL L-88 STYLE BLACK KNOB HURST SHIFTER, CLUTCH SMOOTH AND IS LIKE NEW. This Vette is an incredible car to drive. ALL NEW WEATHER STRIPPING WITH GREAT FITMENT. EMBLEMS ARE LIKE NEW AND IN THE CORRECT PLACE. HEADLIGHTS WORK AND LOOK GREAT. T-TPOS LOOK VERY GOOD AND FIT GREAT WITH NO FLAWS. I HAD A FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT RECENTLY DONE AND EVERYTHING IS aS EXPECTED. ALL HIPS SHARP AND CRISP. ALL LINES MATCH BETTER THAN FACTORY. Now for the bad. This Vette is a high horsepower car and needs hightest fuel and is not for the faint of heart or inexperienced. I am confident anyone who knows how to drive a manual shift car can drive this Vette. This Vette is a monster and not only loves fuel but loves to be loud and go fast. I am in my later years and still enjoy a fast car. the original motor is the big question and unfortunitly I don't have an exact answer. I think it was a small block car but I've been told it originaly might have been a big block car also. The work on this Vette is so amazing its hard to tell what is still original and what has been changed, aside from the obvious. No sway bar on the rear. Colors from the owner. July 21, 2008.
