Clean driver quality Stingray. Manufactured in September of '76, my Father-in- law took this car in on trade for a roof he installed on a house. I'm selling it for him. The car had been sitting for a few years, so it needed a new brake system, a tune up, transmission service, battery, tires, fuel pump and headlight vacuum system. The car runs and drives great and everything works except the air conditioning. It only has about 500 miles on it since all this work was done. Starts right up, hot or cold. The body and paint is very nice with the typical ding on the nose. Nice around the taillights and rear bumper. The body work is very smooth and the paint doesn't have a lot of solvent bubbles like is common on fiberglass. Rust free from Southern Oregon. It sounds good with a nice exhaust rumble, but not too loud. The engine probably has a mild cam in it from the sound of the idle. It has great oil pressure and doesn't smoke or make any unusual noises, even at start up. The transmission shifts very smooth under light acceleration, but will bark the tires when shifting under hard acceleration, although I plead the 5th amendment if ever accused of doing this. Anyway, the interior is in fair shape, nothing major wrong with it, but it is almost 35 years old. We have the original steering wheel, but the wood one that's on the car is much nicer. Overall, it's a very presentable and dependable driver quality car. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. My Father-in-law is selling it because he wants to get another compact pickup to use for his roofing business. Please ask any questions you might have. I'm happy to send you pictures of anything you want to see. It can sit at my house in my barn for a month or so after purchase, if it's paid for and you let me know what's going on. I'm very easy to work with. Communication is key. I'd encourage a 3rd party inspection. We have nothing to hide on this car and I've described it to the best of my ability. It is for sale locally for $9,995. I can pick you up at the airport if you want to fly in and drive it home. I'm also just a few minutes from I-5 exit #24, so it's easy for a transport truck to get to me. Feel free to give me a call @ 541-531-9995 or email. Thanks! Josh |
