| Well, I didn't think it would happen, but a friend of mine is offering his Beautiful 1971 Corvette Big Block Coupe. The only way that I can describe this beauty is that it is one of the most original ones that I have seen in a long time. This car has had only one repaint in it's life and that was 14 years ago and shows very little wear. Because this car has been kept in a temp. controlled garage, it is one that would show very well at any event. Although it has never been judged at any NCRS meet I'm sure it wouldn't take a lot of effort to get it to that point. As far as I know, this 49,000 mile car still has it's original engine 454ci365hp, 4 speed trans, and rear end. I also knew the previous owner and he was very meticulous with it as well. This car still has it's original interior (Black Leather) and also shows little wear. Just a note on the body, it is a no hit non-repair body, the fit of the body is great . The chassis is original and in beautiful condition. The exhaust has been upgraded to a chamber type. Beautiful sound- just like side exhaust and he still has the original exhaust that goes with the car. The running and driving condition is just beautiful. The only thing this car needs is someone that wants to go out and have a great time. Anyone would be proud to show this car at any event or cruise night. I would advise any serious party interested in this car to have this car inspected. Again, I am listing this car for my friend. This is one that should not get away from anyone looking for a real beauty!! We have set this car at a very modest reserve. Because of it's age it is being sold as is, no warranty. |
