1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE COUPE. L-71 427 / 435. THE LAST DOCUMENTED L-71. SAME COLLECTION 19 YEARS. TITLE HISTORY. GOLD SPINNER AWARD. 4-SPEED. TANK STICKER. 44,000 ORIGINAL MILES. REAL 900 CODE BLACK THIS 1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE COUPE IS A TRUE SURVIVOR WITH ONLY 40,000 ORIGINAL MILES AND IS BELIEVED TO BE THE LAST L-71 435hp AND POSSIBLY THE LAST 427 EVER BUILT. NO 427 WITH DOCUMENTATION HAS SURFACED WITH A LATER SEQUENCE NUMBER THAN THIS CAR. IT HAS NEVER BEEN RESTORED OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY, AND COMES EQUIPPED WITH THE FACTORY ORIGINAL DRIVETRAIN. THE CONDITION OF THE CAR IS HIGHLY ORIGINAL AND SHOWS VERY FEW SIGNS OF AGE. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN A CLIMATE CONTROL COLLECTION FOR THE LAST 19 YEARS AND HAS ONLY BEEN SHOWN ONCE. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES AS NEW. THE ENGINE EXHIBITS THE PROPER COMPRESSION AND EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY. THE BODY HAS NEVER HAD ANY SORT OF DAMAGE, AND RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL FIBERGLASS. THE TUXEDO BLACK PAINT LOOKS GREAT. ALL OF THE CHROME RETAINS A FACTORY SHINE. THE INTERIOR SHOWS SLIGHT USE AND IS THE FACTORY ORIGINAL RARE GUNMETAL COLOR CODE. THE CARPET SHOWS LITTLE TO NO WEAR. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS A TIME CAPSULE OF ORIGINALITY. EVERY COMPONENT IN THIS ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS ORIGINAL AND/OR CORRECT, AS SOME PARTS SUCH AS HOSES AND BELTS HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR DRIVING SAFETY. NOTICE THE COMPLETE ORIGINAL SMOG EQUIPMENT. THE UNDERCARRIAGE, WHILE NOT DETAILED FOR SHOW, EXHIBITS THE USUAL SIGNS OF USE FOR A LOW-MILEAGE CAR, AND IS AMAZINGLY WELL PRESERVED, SHOWING A NICE PATINA. THIS CAR'S ORIGINAL GAS TANK WAS REMOVED FROM THE CAR, AND THE TANK STICKER CAREFULLY REMOVED AND PRESERVED UNDER SEALED GLASS. THE ORIGINAL TANK WAS THEN PUT BACK IN PLACE WITH THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE. THE TANK STICKER IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND VERY READABLE.
