Car history:
Big block 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. The odometer reads 6,307, which is believed to reflect the mileage since engine was rebuilt, and the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible include: AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. Powering this Corvette Roadster is a 454 Big Block V8 engine, that has been rebuilt with new lifters, cam, and timing chain. This is an original big block Corvette, it was born with a 427 CID V8 (Webmaster does not think so) that produced 390 horsepower. A 4 speed manual transmission transfers the power to the independent rear suspension and the 3.08 final gear ratio. This Corvette features the outstanding color combination of Daytona Yellow exterior paint, black vinyl top, and black vinyl interior. The Daytona Yellow paint does show some wear, it is not perfect, but is still very presentable for a local show or cruise. The black vinyl interior and black vinyl top are in very good condition, free from any rips, tears, or major wear. The tilt and telescopic steering wheel, which was a $84.30 add from the factory, helps getting in and out of this classic roadster much easier. The rally wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires, and provide an awesome appearance and overall stance. The 390 horsepower 427 big block V8 engine was $221.20 add from the factory, and there were 10,531 Corvettes produced with particular engine in 1969. BiN $38,995. August 2016.
