Also doesn't have the Protec-O Plate. The vehicle has a few bubble spots on the hood where the rivets are located. Owner estimates a cost of $800 to fix this issue. These bubbles are somewhat common. November 11, 2008. 1) Very nice, body-off restored 1969 Corvette Convertible. It is a 427-390 hp, 4-speed, numbers match with 62466 original miles. It is triple black, Tuxedo Black with both convertible tops, hard and soft (hard top not pictured). It had new paint, interior, soft top, chrome, stainless, brakes, and tires back in 2000 and 1500 miles ago. It has a nicely detailed engine compartment. It is optioned with factory side mounted exhaust (1 of 4355 built), power steering, headrests, M-21 transmission, posi, Air, side louver trim, tinted windshield, rallys, and BF Goodrich white lettered TA Radials. Most all factory correct components including the spare, jack, jack tools, seat belts, smog system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, and T-3 headlights. There are very few scratches and one touched up place on the front right fender next to the hood. Passenger door has frayed fiberglass where the top raises (see pic).
