| 1972 red t-top Corvette with matching numbers. This is very clean with a 350 ci engine, with a strong Turbo-Hydra-matic automatic 400 transmission. All of the rear chrome is new, plus new stainless steel plug wires, and radiator and heater hoses. The radiator has been recored. The radiator support bracket is new. A rear composite TRW style heavy duty spring aids the ride. This has a power antenna for the AM FM cassette radio. The interior and carpet were new in 2003. The power steering valve was replaced in 2003. All of the gauges (including the clock) work. The headlight doors and the wiper doors work. This car has no mechanical problem. I am the fourth owner. This 72 Corvette has power steering and power brakes. No A/C. The Astro Ventilation works fine. This is why the odometer reading is different than the description mileage. THE FRAME, BIRDCAGE, WINDOW PILLARS ARE RUST FREE. ALL CHROME IS BRILLIANT. THE INTERIOR AND CARPET ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. VEHICLE HAS THE OPTIONAL THREE POINT SAFETY BELTS. THE HEADLIGHT AND WIPER DOORS WORK WITH EXTREME SPEED AND ACCURACY. ALL INTERIOR LIGHTING IS OPERATIONAL. ALL BRAKE SYSTEM CALIPERS ARE NEW AS ARE THE HIGH SPEED PADS. HIGH PRESSURE STEEL BRAKE LINES WERE INSTALLED ENABLING THIS CORVETTE TO STOP ON A DIME. TIRES ARE BRAND NEW GOODYEAR EAGLE ST WITH NEW SPARE ALSO. FACTORY BURGLAR ALARM ALSO OPERATIONAL. THE AM/FM CASSETTE RECEIVES ITS RECEPTION FROM A POWER ANTENNA THAT DISAPPEARS INTO THE BODY WHEN RADIO IS TURNED OFF. THE STAINLESS STEEL LUGGAGE RACK IS PRISTINE. THIS VEHICLE HAS NO LEAK EITHER FROM THE T-TOPS NOR ANY ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/ POWER STEERING SYSTEM COMPONENTS. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL DEALER MANUAL ALONG WITH THE CHEVROLET IDENT-A-PLATE, ALL EMISSIONS BOOKLETS FROM FACTORY AND THE TRIM RING INSTRUCTION SHEET. I BELIEVE THE TANK STICKER IS STILL INTACT ABOVE THE FUEL TANK. THE BODY FIBERGLASS IS IN TERRIFIC CONDITION. THERE IS ONE SMALL SPIDER CRACK ON THE HOOD AND ONE SMALL BUBBLE ABOUT A HALF INCH IN DIAMETER. PAINT IS ORIGINAL COLOR MILLE MIGLIA RED AND REFLECTS A GLASS FINISH AND WOULD RATE IT AN 7 OUT OF 10. 63,400 miles. February 18, 2009. |
