1) I bought this car last February for a winter project and I am ready for a new project. It has a 350 small block engine with a turbo 400 automatic transmission. My goal for this car was to do a refurbishment rather than a total replacement restoration. I have replaced many parts to get this vehicle to be a fun driver giving the buyer an opportunity to take a more in depth restoration in the future. Current replaced parts are as followed: Headlight rebuild with new vacuum canisters, bulbs, relays, springs, and hardware, Manual Fuel Pump, HEI distributer(great upgrade to original points and very reliable), Tachometer cable, Starter, Master Cylinder, Wiper relays and blades, Calipers, rotors, pads all around, Shocks all around, Oil pump, Dual Flowmaster exhaust with 40 series mufflers and chrome tips and bezels, Full carpet replacement with sound deadener, Battery, Cobra Tires balanced with no more than 50 miles on them, Fuel tank. Now like I said before this was a refurbishment more than a total restoration. I reused the cosmetic parts of the car and cleaned them to bring out the best. The paint does have some bubbling in areas but still brings out a decent shine. This would be a fun driver quality car but if you want to bring it to the next level would be a great car for a full restoration. $10,600 (RnM) on August 11, 2017. |
