| Car history: |
| 1968 Chevrolet Corvette 454 4-speed. This car has an extensive list of new parts installed over the last 15 years including rear suspension components, exhaust, brakes, and the engine. The car runs and drives good however could use a little minor work here and there. This is believed to be an original 427 4-speed car however the original motor is no longer with the car. The current engine is a 454 built by an engine shop out of Phoenix, I have all of the engine specs for the build. (450hp). This car is not a perfect show car however, it is still a very respectable driver quality vette. The body still looks nice however the paint is starting to show some age, the body is crack free and believed to be all original. The interior is also in decent shape with no major flaws. The power windows work as they should. The convertible top also shows its age and should be replaced eventually. The frame has been patched in front of the rear wheels and the radiator support has some rust but the rest of the structure looks good. The car has a draw on the battery when the car isn't running so I leave the battery disconnected. Once again this car isn't perfect however with a little minor work it would make a great weekend toy. $19,500. March 21, 2015. |
