BiN $39,995 (may have been sold ) on February 2, 2017. 1) A fine example of the 400hp 60's dream car. This Red on Black example is in great running shape. This is not a numbers matching car, but the engine is correct. Lots of time and love have been put into the car. Engine/Drivetrain/Mechanical: This Corvette is in sound mechanical shape. The 427ci motor is a '68 block stamped with the car's VIN and engine code. The car includes chrome headers, 2.5 inch exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, aftermarket air cleaner, a Holley 80508-1 dual line carb, Hurst shifter, high-torque starter, and Mallory distributor. The tires are Firestone Firehawk SS with lots of tread (look new). Front suspension appears to have been replaced recently. Rear trailing arms, bearing housings backing plates, calipers, and strut rods all look newer. Has fiberglass rear spring. Rear sway bar appears to be new. The car is installed with the original differential (3.55 posi). Known faults include: front and rear transmission seals seeping, tailstock bushing has slight play. Wiper motor does not work. Vacuum system is slow. Reverse lock-out cable is missing. Interior/Exterior: The exterior of this Corvette is red and in good condition. The car is a definite head-turner. Interior is in good shape, all gauges and electronics in working condition except for windshield wipers. Original Options include: C08 Vinyl Covering for Aux.
