| All numbers match on this beauty that turns heads everywhere it goes. I've had owners of Vipers and Ferraris flag me down to check it out (seriously). I hate to see it go but I'm starting a business and need the money. The car has been in my family for the last 30 years. I spent the last 10 years fixing it up. It's a real gem. As you can see, it looks great. It also runs perfectly. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow. I recently did a road trip from Albuquerque to LA without incident. The carb was rebuilt a couple months ago by top mechanic in Santa Monica CA. The same mechanic replaced the brake calipers and master cylinder. Two years ago the frame was completely restored, vacuum tubing was replaced, and new alternator was put on. It runs strong and smooth. It has the 427 hood but it is a 327 engine. There are only ~65,000 original miles. 4 speed manual transmission. 327 CI engine. New tires. Comes with both a hard top and soft top. It also has both sets of original hub caps, the ones you see on the car now and the spoke hub caps. The only things that I would fix immediately if I were to continue owning the car are the driver's door hangs slightly (it was sitting in my uncle's barn for 10+ years with the door hanging open) and the emergency brake doesn't work. The emergency brake's assembly has been completely replaced, and the rear pads are good. I believe it just needs new rotors in the rear. Thanks for looking! eBay Item number: 320924423733 |
