Nice 1968 Corvette Coupe, 327, 4spd, manual steering and brakes Last repairs completed: Rebuilt Carb New Fuel Pump and line New Brakes to include Calipers and Rotors Tune up to include wires Electrical update to include Alternator and Voltage Regulator. New drive belts, thermostat and hoses New heater core with hoses Car was restored in 1988 and legitimately has not been used …. Actually driven less than 1K miles in 20 years! Basically car was kept in storage the entire time...hence the need for recent work noted above. Mileage is believed to be correct at 27K! Paint is over 20 years old but only requires some repair work to look excellent. Besides having three obvious dings (see images) it remains shiny and impressive. Unfortunately door damage was caused by car rolling backwards out of garage with door open. Chrome, bright work and interior are still in excellent shape. Exterior door handles could use replacing since chrome is pitted. Car runs and drives first rate. Engine doesn’t smoke and starts easily. Honestly, it is a very powerful and impressive 327. Muncie transmission with factory shifter shifts excellent and doesn’t vibrate while underway like others I’ve driven. Clutch is solid with no chatter or slippage. Suspension is tight and has no noticeable faults such as shimmies or noises. January 18, 2008
