| For sale by owner - a real head-turner!!!! This was a gift to me for Christmas, 2005. It was purchased from a local dealer, who had taken it in on a trade. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not include any paperwork with the vehicle (other than the registration!). Car is untitled, not unusual for cars of this vintage. I had the body fully restored about 3 years ago - it looks brand new!! I have all paperwork for any work done since December 2005, and will pass all that documentation along to the new owner. The front brakes are new - not just pads, the entire assemblies were replaced. Also had a new thermostat housing installed - there had been some coolant leaking out of the old one. New fuel pump as well, also new radiator. Tires and wheels are great! The interior is all original. It didn't bother me, so I never did anything about it, but if you find yourself unhappy with a less than perfect interior, you may want to do some upgrading. There are no rear speakers, but I purchased them and will include them with the car. The flex plate can be touchy (again,, not unusual for this particular vehicle) - probably should be replaced at some point (missing one complete tooth and partial of a second tooth). Occasionally the starter gear and the flex plate will not engage, if the flex plate is in just the wrong position. When that happens, one needs to put the car in gear and move it in order to rotate the flex plate to a position other than the one where the teeth are damaged. Car needs a new battery - the one that is in it was put in when I received the car - nearly 8 years old now. The heater core has a leak, so we by-passed it - the A/C was removed by the previous owner, presumably to make room for new engine components, but I have no idea how much, if anything, was done to the engine. The exhaust is after-market, and is in great condition - see where the exhaust exits immediately in front of the rear tires?? It sounds AWESOME! The car is basically a sound automobile, and has good pick-up, runs like a top!
