Added to Registry 06/22/2013 Mileage: 77,700 miles This is a Factory original 1971 C3 Corvette T-TOP LS-5 454/365 HP Big Block Chevrolet with an engine showing CE 17 332 block numbers. The car has a Four Speed Muncie manual Transmission and has Original Classic White paint 972 with Red Interior that was redone. It has 77,700 original miles. The Power Train is Excellent and factory Shifter is brand New. The car has a Fiberglass rear suspension spring, Very Good tires and tread with Chrome spoke wire wheels that have three horn center knock offs with Corvette Logos along with the Original Owners manual. The car runs out the way you would want it to (Great) and there is no grinding when down shifting in any gear indicating that the clutch and synchromesh gears are in excellent condition. The rear axle gearing is probably a 308 as it can cruise at 70 MPH @ 2300 RPM which means better gas mileage. The engine is super tight and the exhaust has been replaced. The car has Power Steering and the factory air conditioning/ heater is disconnected. The headlamps operate as they should and can be left up if desired with the override switch below the steering wheel to service the lights. Also, the wiper door panel opens and closes when the wipers are activated. I usually open the wiper cover panel with the override switch and leave it open if it is intermittent rain and I have to turn the wipers on and off periodically. The T-TOP has a removable rear window and two top panels to give you the feeling of a convertible. The needs of the car are at some point is to refinish the original paint on the car and connect the heater and/or the AC if you need it. I drive the car only in the summer and most of the time with the T Tops removed. I replaced the front lower spoiler after encountering parking space bumpers that were too high. The Pioneer radio made for Corvette has a cassette player feature and should be updated to a CD player.
