| 1969 Corvette Convertible, Fathom Green, Black Vinyl Interior, L71 - 427/435hp, M21 4-Speed, NCRS Top Flight, Duntov Award, Bloomington Gold, Gold Spinner Certificate, 2006 Triple Crown, Frame Off-Restored, 2-Tops. Rare Duntov frame off-restored 1969 Fathom Green Corvette convertible, with black vinyl interior, a soft top and black vinyl hardtop. It has a numbers matching drive train with the highly desirable L71 option 427 cubic inch 435HP engine, and an M21 4 speed transmission. This Corvette was a complete frame off restoration completed in 2002. It has won just about every award offered in the Corvette hobby. 2002 NCRS Top Flight Regional, 2004 NCRS Regional PV Award, 2004 NCRS Top Flight Regional, 2004 Duntov Mark of Excellence, 2005 Bloomington Gold, 2006 Gold Spinner Certificate, 2006 Triple Crown The original certificates, judging sheets and 3 NCRS ribbons are also included with the car.The 427/435HP option was only ordered on 2,722 (7 per cent) of the Corvettes. That means this is probably one of only 2 ever produced. This car has undergone a high quality frame-off restoration that was completed in 2002. All of the work is documented in a meticulously organized 3 ring binder with just about every receipt for every piece of work that was completed. There are also many restoration photos of the entire process. Since 2006 the car has been driven sparingly but regularly, and stored in a heated facility and received regular maintenance as required. Take a look at the photos and you can see it looks almost as good as the day the restoration was completed. The car starts, runs, and drives like a 1969 435HP Corvette should. The car also comes with reproduction red line tires which were used during judging. The rebuilt engine has many of the original components and the detailed engine compartment has a correct smog A.I.R. system with the correct date codes. The carburetors also have the correct part numbers and date codes and the list continues.
