| 1981 Corvette. I purchased it in July 09 and have done many upgrades to it since then. It has rebuilt brake calipers (o-ring seals) new master cylinder, rubber brake hoses, brake pads, new water pump, hoses, fan clutch, V-belts, alternator, new cam and lifters (stock) oil pump, new timing chain kit, new fuel pump. The radiator was replaced recent before I purchased it. It also has new mufflers, the rest of exhaust system is good. The right rear wheel bearings were replaced left rear serviced. Front wheel bearings regreased. It is fitted with a rebuilt 140 mph speedometer and has 0 miles on it. The seats were recovered and carpets cleaned. The interior is very nice original with little wear. The exterior is shiney with minor blemishes (original paint). Tires are in fair condition Dunlops. More things done I'm now thinking of is it has rebuilt earlier Q-jet and rebuilt Delco HEI distributor with vacuum advance, so the original troublesome computer system is disabled. The drivers side door hinge has new bushings, pins and all new u-joints. Frame and floors have NO rust. I do have a set of new 225 70 15 tires available but not included with this sale unless bidding goes high enough if interested an extra $225 will be needed. The only thing it needs that I know of is a heater core it is bypassed. I did not do it yet because I only drive this in warm weather. It runs and drives GREAT! Selling due to work being very slow and need the money to survive.... Note the picture of passenger side I see I did not close door all the way. It does close good. The picture with minor chip is on front edge of drivers door, it was that way when I got it and had not got to it yet. I do have a new quart of paint that goes with the car. |
