| Bought this in 2008. Did a lot of work to it with a lot more I wanted to do but other projects have got in the way. Mechanically the car runs and drives down the road very nice. Frame is solid. Top is good and functions Ok. Cosmetically it needs paint and some interior help. I've done just about everything to the chassis with the exception of trailing arms, they were fine. Brakes all redone, new poly bushings in the A-arms, rear struts, engine, & transmission mounts. New Eaton posi unit (308 gears), U-joints, ball joints, oversized front sway bar, vettebrakes leaf spring, power steering pump, steering box, (rebuilt from Bair's), new DeWitts aluminum radiator, even new steering rag joint. Fuel tank was cleaned & painted. This deal comes with two motors. The motor in the the car is GM crate motor HT383 at 340 HP. Very nice running, more of a torque motor that work very well with the 308 rear end. The original numbers matching motor complete (pulled running) also included. Transmission is the original 400. Paint is old, ruff and peeling. Bumpers are dull but are good candidates for rechroming. Hubcaps are driver quality only, interior is pretty much original, carpet is poor. Seats frames need some repair, and new foam. Plus numerous other small details that are from age. All in all the car is dependable and drives great. I would trust driving any distance.
