| 1985 Frame Off Restoration. Black Interior & White Soft Top. Original Cortez Silver Color. NOM GM 350 Engine. Muncie 4 Speed Transmission. Original 350HP L46 many original engine parts. Highly Optioned with: Working Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt/Tele Steering Column, Tinted Astro Glass, Red Line Firestone Wide Ovals, Correct Rally Rims Trim Rings Center Caps, Front Fender Louver Trim, AM/FM Radio, Great Driver and Entry Level Corvette. The car went through a body-off restoration in 1985 at which time the color was changed from the original Cortez Silver to Red. The straight body looks very good, with its red exterior, white soft top and redline tires. The 30 year old paint still looks good, there are some small bubbles in the paint that have developed on the rear deck they can be seen in the pictures. The frame is straight and solid. The chrome and stainless also look very nice. The black vinyl interior also has been restored and still looks good, the major change is that the seats are 1968 and the seat belts are dated 1971. We do not have any history about the reason for the change. The car runs, stops and drives very good, even the A/C blows cold ! Sold for $19,600 on August 29,2016. |
