Originally assembled on July 5, 1968, this 1968 Corvette Convertible features desirable power steering and 4 speed manual transmission, and is in good condition. This car's paint looks to be slightly older, and is good-vg with a nice shine. Convertible top looks to be slightly older as well, and is also good-vg. A 427 style hood has been added. All exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers are vg, showing a newer finish. Exterior door handles are vg-exc, showing a newer finish as well. Weatherstripping looks to be newer, and is vg, and rally wheels are vg with good trim rings and vg-exc center caps. Radial raised white letter tires show nearly full tread depth remaining at an average of 10/32nds. The interior of this 1968 Corvette Convertible shows good condition seats, carpet, seatbelts, steering wheel, dash pad, and center console. A vintage Sony cassette stereo is installed in the dash, and a vintage Sony 10 disc CD changer sits in the rear, along with a pair of boxed Pioneer 6x9 speakers. LED interior lights have been added as well, in addition to a Hurst shifter. The 350ci engine in this 1968 Corvette Convertible shows casting number 3970010, and original casting date December 1, 1969. Does have a small oil leak. Additions to this engine include a chrome air cleaner, Holley carburetor, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, L46 style finned aluminum valve covers, chrome alternator, and a polished power steering cap. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition (except the clock). Sold for $25,500 on February 8, 2017. For sale again at this price (Ended) on February 17, 2017. BiN $24,999 (Ended) on March 3, 2017. Sold for $24,500 on March 6, 2017.
