| 1973 Stingray convertible (only 4,943 convertibles were manufactured in 1973). This is one of the rare ones due to its options; color; and numbers of convertibles that were built that year . Actual miles: 72,749. VIN Number: 1Z67Z23S430415. Transmission Type: 4 Speed Manual Close Ratio. Engine: 454ci 8; engine – it was originally a 454 but was replaced with a 454 before I purchased it in 2004. I had it restored to original 454 with a mild cam at Wettstein Auto & Welding, a well known builder of new and rebuilt race engines from Garnett, KS. I have all my receipts for maintenance of the vehicle since 2004 when I purchased it. Exterior Color: Admiral (Bright) Blue with white vinyl top (only 323 vinyl tops manufactured in '73); trim code 404 and paint code 927 from driver door frame sticker; black interior with woodgrain accents; a few leather on door panel; new battery this year; air conditioner and heater both working; New brakes last year with silicone brake fluid. It has a few pits on paint near rear fenders. AM/FM radio and cassette stereo. Chrome luggage rack and rear bumper. Headlight doors open and close and all lights work. Tires in fair to good condition. Body lines professionally realigned. Included are two covers: one for travel and one a dust cover for inside the garage. Very nice driver. Turns heads when driving; has won numerous trophies at shows. Most trophies will go with the vehicle if purchaser desires. The car has always been in a dedicated garage bay.
