| This is an absolutely gorgeous 1968 Rally Red convertible with original #'s matching 327 engine and turbo 400 transmission. It has power windows, power brakes, and power steering. I restored this car about 4 years ago. The chassis was completely redone with all new bushings, ball joints, bearings, springs, shocks, trailing arms, stainless steel brakes and emergency brake, brake lines, power steering cylinder, and power steering pump. The engine is all original except for the intake and carburetor. I do have the original intake and the original valve covers (which are almost impossible to find). The transmission was rebuilt. The pneumatic headlights and wiper door work beautifully with new vacuum hoses. I have the original factory hard top, and it has a new original style soft top. The only thing that is not in working order right now is the air conditioning. I believe it needs to be charged. I always have the top down and have never used it. This car drives beautifully. I have a folder complete with all receipts from the parts that have gone into this car. Colors from the owner. 118,300 miles. April 2, 2009 |
