| 427, 4 speed manual transmission, 52,550 original miles, cassette tape deck, new carpet, new door panels, new exterior paint (color code 983), newly covered original seats (interior color code 402), seats also have headrests, new redline tires (no mileage on tires). Engine was warranted out in 1968 with a Chevrolet crate engine with solid lifters; supposed to be 425 horse power engine. I think there were only two solid lifter engines built in 1968. One is the corvette L-88 engine having 430 horse aluminum heads. The other solid lifter engine would have been the 425 horse chevelle without aluminum heads. The hood is an L-88 hood and was on the car when I bought it. The car is equipped with a holley 780 carburetor. The car has won best of class in various car shows. 52,550 miles from the odometer.
