68 Corvette Convertible! Runs and Drives, 4 Speed! This car should be considered a project, but it runs and drives fairly well. The car starts right up and runs strong, the transmission shifts well, the clutch feels good and I was told the brakes were all new and they feel good. The frame is scaly but no rust and the bird cage appears rust free. Exterior wise, it will need a paint job. The current paint is chipping and peeling in spots but still manages to look alright from 20 feet. The front end was converted into a 73 front end, I have the original bumper to put back on, and it's in good shape. All the original Astro glass is in good condition and both windows roll up and down fine. Has a hard top only. Rear bumper is in fair shape and overall is survivor quality. It has 4 Rally wheels and a nice set of tires. Interior wise, overall it is in fair shape. The seats are comfortable and have a few small tears. The carpet in in fair to good shape, ok for a driver. Door panels are in good shape and have no rips or tears although could use a redye. Dash looks nice. Most gauges work on the cluster including temp, oil pressure, gas gauge, Battery level and water temp. The tachometer is not hooked up because the distributor is now electronic. The speedometer does work. The shift plate is in good shape and looks like the car had ac. Steering wheel looks good, headlights open up and headlights work and tail lights work as well. Brake lights also work but the turn signals do not work. Ebrake is strong and ebrake warning light turns on and off when applied or released. Overall the interior is comfortable. Mechanically, the car has a NOM 350 engine that runs very well. It starts right up after sitting for a few weeks. Could use a good tune up to double check everything, but runs strong. Transmission shifts well in all gears and reverse. Makes no funny noises out of rear end when driving. Steers ok, but I have only driven it down local roads. The brakes I was told were redone by the previous owner and were all new, they feel excellent. The frame is not rotted, it does have some scaling but nothing serious. The birdcage is clean, I don't see any rust there. Has a good set of tires and rims, tires have almost 80% remaining. It is a convertible, and summer is right around the corner!
