| 1) 1968 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE, TRIM 411 PAINT 976 ARE CORRECT. THIS CAR RUNS GREAT AND LOOKS GOOD, BUT COULD USE A MINOR RESTORATION TO BE REALLY BEAUTIFUL. THE HEADLIGHTS GO UP PROPERLY AND DOORS, HOOD, ALL LINE UP CORRECTLY. IT HAS A BLACK TOP IN GOOD CONDITION AND THE CHROME IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. MATCHING #'S BLOCK, HEADS AND MANIFOLD ALONG WITH ITS ORIGINAL TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION THAT HAS BEEN REBUILT ALONG WITH THE MOTOR AND I HAVE THE RECIEPTS. THE FRAME IS PERFECT WITH NO RUST AT ALL, IT HANDLES VERY WELL AND IS NOT A RATTLE TRAP. NON POWER WINDOW, NO A/C BUT HAS POWER STEERING AND NO POWER BRAKES. IT STILL HAS THE STOCK STEREO IN THE DASH AND THE FIBER OPTICS STILL WORK IN THE CONSOLE. I failed to say that the windshield is cracked and the rack and pinion steering leaks and there are a few blemishes on the body as seen in the first pic but not major. The L79 may not be true as I have done some research and don't see that listed as an option for an automatic transmission. 115,000 miles. May 15, 2008. |
