2) This 1970 Corvette LT-1 Coupe is one of only 1,287 produced in 1970 (vehicle build date 7/21/70). This documented coupe has only 68,146 original miles and is one of the rarest and most collectible vintage Corvettes with much upside potential investment value (see December 2007 Hemmings Motor News article "1970 Corvette LT-1, Best Small-Block Ever?"). A very nice quality driver car that can be immediately enjoyed or, with a little work, transformed into a true show car, particularly given how few of these were made. Matching numbers original 350 engine, 370 horsepower, 11:1 compression ratio, high-rise aluminum intake manifold, matching numbers M21 four-speed transmission, factory 4.11 gears, power brakes, AM/FM push-button radio, factory alarm, correct Marlboro Maroon lacquer paint and saddle interior, very clean undercarriage, painted frame, no rust, many new parts, including suspension, tires, recent engine re-build, restored ignition system and distributor, under-hood detailing, etc. This car runs strong and is a blast to drive. Car comes with original Protecto Plate still attached to warranty booklet with dealer and original buyer info., original key blanks, and Owner's Manual still in plastic case. Comes with book of receipts and records, and several spare parts. 68,146 miles. Reserve not met at $31,001. April 14, 2012. 1) Have original protect-o-plate and key punchouts. Very original. Motor suffix code is V0709CTK. Seen on 1970corvetteregistry.org, on July 19 2010. |
