| Car history: |
| It breaks my heart, but I have to sell my baby to pay off some debt!! This is a numbers matching, white/black, 1969 Corvette with the following options: • L46 - 350ci/350hp engine • M21 - Muncie 4-speed transmission • C60 - Factory A/C • N40 - Power Steering • U69 - AM/FM radio (not working). The true mileage was unknown when I bought the car, and currently the odometer is not working. I’ve owned this car for 5 years, and it has always been garaged, and only driven in sunny weather. I’m the third owner of this car, and when I bought it, I was told the last owner had it since 1971. The car is in good condition, and I would consider it to be a daily driver. The paint job is in good condition with four small imperfections that you can see in the pictures below. They are minor and could easily be fixed by a good paint shop for relatively inexpensive cost. I’ve done quite a bit of work to the car while I’ve owned it, and all the work has been done by Corvettes of Dallas, a local Corvette shop in Dallas, Tx. Receipts for all work. Below is a list of some of the more significant work I’ve had done: • Replaced front wheel bearings and seals • Replaced strut rods • Replaced sway bar end links • Replaced Power Steering Control Valve and Slave Cylinder • Replaced Timing Chain and all Gaskets • Replaced Harmonic Balancer • Rebuilt Transmission • New Hooker Coated Competition Headers (polished finish) • New Edelbrock Polished Timing Chain Cover (no original) • New Edelbrock Polished Valve Covers (original valve covers will be provided – picture included) • New Grant 14” Steering Wheel (original steering wheel will be provided – picture included) • New Comp Cams 268H Performance Camshaft • New lifters • New clutch • Flowmaster exhaust & mufflers • Vinyl T-Top storage bags Below is a list of the items I know need to be fixed that I didn’t get to: • Windshield wiper switch (vacuum system checks out OK) • Speedometer, Tachometer, Odometer (all cables have been replaced) • A/C works but needs Freon charge • Radio & speakers • Inside rear-view mirror. The exterior had been repainted before I bought it, and the previous owner used the Can Am White color, but added just a touch of pearl to it, so it's not 100% accurate, but the pearl touch does look VERY nice. 60,000 miles. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is L21. January 12, 2009. |
