| 1979 Chevy Corvette. Options include - automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, power locks, cruise control, telescopic tilt steering wheel, mirrored T tops, leathers seats, and air conditioning. The car runs good and can be driven. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears as it should. Power windows work but the passenger side needs adjusted. It goes up but is about an inch short of closing. The turn signal arm is loose from the column but still clicks on and off. It will need rear brake pads. The interior is in descent shape for the year with one bad spot on the drivers bolster. Paint is a bit rough and is a repaint. There are some cracks in the nose but are fixable. Only one headlight is working. There seems to be a bolt missing in the hinge for the other headlight. The air conditioning has no belt so I have no clue if it works. The compressor does spin so it may need only a recharge. The motor is all stock with no mods and all are original to the car. It does not knock, tick, or make strange noises. If you are looking for a cheap vette that would be a running driving project car, this is the one. This car is fresh out of storage and unmolested like alot of these cars are. |
