Car history:
1969 Corvette L71 427/435hp 4 speed M21. Tri-power 3 2bbl carbs. All #s match, 53K original miles. 1 prior owner. 11.0:1 compression 460 ft/lb torque, the most powerful engine corvette ever made of all C1, C2 or C3. Only 2,700 ever made. Actual horse power was rated at 500hp and was later verified by Chevrolet. All numbers match from block, heads, trans, rear-end, intake, carb, etc. Very, very rare to find a true L71. One with 53K original miles, 1 prior owner, protect-o-plate, original sales contract and title and a $10K professional engine rebuild? Once in a lifetime to some. This car has power steering, power brakes, power windows. Dewitt Aluminum radiator just installed. All 3 original carbs rebuilt, original intake, manifold, heads, block, transmission, rear-end, everything. Receipts for all recent work. Less than 100 miles on rebuilt motor. I have the protecto plate, original sales contract, owner's manual, all from the original dealer. Original title in hand. This car has only been titled once. Everything works, including fiber-optics, except clock. Brand new tires, restored original factory wheels, new rebuilt brakes, new rebuilt powering steering, new stainless steel brake lines, new front and rear suspension bushings, arms, shocks. New clutch. New carpet. Seats, door panels, all the rest is original and near perfect. New exhaust. Frame is solid and rust free, always garaged. rarely driven. This truly looks like a museum piece inside, it's a sight to be seen the original condition. Chrome trim and bumpers are near perfect, extremely impressive originals. Small tear is seat you see has been repaired professionally. Only thing left to do is paint. Car looks fabulous from 10 feet, shines bright, but has some spider webbing in original paint. Fiberglass is near-perfect. I bought this car after searching for years for one of these but recent personal needs have forced me to sell. This is truly a gem of a car, untouched and unmolested to say the least. One owner since 1969, was off the road for the past 25 years prior to the motor being rebuilt, brakes and suspension, wheels done. With paint this is a $60-$70K car, maybe more to some. NCRS material, even retains all the original screws, nuts and bolts from the factory. It hasn't been touched as it has not needed to be. Very hard to find this we all know. I can say with complete honestly that there is nothing left to do on this car besides paint if you want. 53,057 miles. $48,000. November 18, 2014.
