| This is a good original big block Vette. It is a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that has always been in California and has only had two owners. I have a huge box of documentation dating back to 1975, most of very detailed handwritten logs of everything the car did. It is a matching number car with its original 454 c.i./390 HP V-8 and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The car is well optioned with factory air conditioning, power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, power windows, power antenna, cruise control, tilt/telescopic wheel. The engine has been rebuilt. The engine numbers are still clear on the engine pad. It runs beautifully. It is fast and fun. It could use paint, but it is a factory Daytona Yellow car. I believe some of it is still original paint, but some paint work has been done. The body is in good condition. The interior is in good original condition. The frame is excellent. Obviously the wheels are from a newer Corvette. Clean, clear California title in hand with current 2016 tags on the car. It could use some cosmetics, but it is a very rare (especially due to the strike at General Motors in 70) and highly optioned, matching number big block that runs well for under 20k. May 13, 2016. |
