Car history:
Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this numbers matching 1972 Corvette
Convertible that is priced to sell. The car looks good, runs great, and is a blast to
drive. We have this car priced as one of the best values for a "chrome bumper"
convertible on the market right now. One could easily buy this car now and sell it
for more than the purchase price with minimal work and effort. Included with the
car is documentation showing some service history, copies of previous titles, and
ownership history back to 1993. The best thing about the service history is that it
shows the mileage each time the car went in and helps to confirm the mileage now
as original. For example, a copy of an old title shows the mileage at 49,000 miles
in December of 1993. The car had 59,206 miles in July of 1998 on an odometer
disclosure statement, which also shows the mileage as actual, when the car was
transferred to a previous owner. The odometer now show just under 67,400 miles.
The low original mileage is supported not only by the service receipts, but also the
clear Ohio title pictured below showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all
of the photos and numbers below to get a true sense of this Corvette.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. Our Corvettes come
from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the
same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine
the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize
each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just
give us a call.

Exterior
The red exterior is in presentable driver condition. As one can see in the photos
the paint has fine gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. The chrome bumpers and
other bight work on the car show well for the most part with no major rust or pitting.
The convertible top is in good condition with no rips or holes. The rear window is
clear and not yellowed or foggy at all. As with many of the C3 Corvettes, the top
can be a bit finicky to operate. There are no major imperfections that have been
intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some imperfections, that were
too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really stands out from about ten
feet away. The car exhibits some subpar body fit overall. There is some welding
that has been done to the frame sometime in the past. The wheels are in great
condition with a nice finish and no curb rash on the beauty rings. The tires are almost
brand new and appear to have about 95% tread left.

Interior
The black interior of the Corvette looks terrific. The seats are in good condition
with no rips, splits seams, or signs of excessive wear. They are not worn in the
typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out. The carpet throughout the
car is also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the rear
carpet, which is often neglected. The dash is in nice condition with no cracks, fading,
or sun damage. There are some cracks on the door panels. The aftermarket
stereo radio works well. Most importantly, the radio is a Corvette specific unit
designed to fit into the stock location so the original dash has not been cut or modified.
This car has not been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma whatsoever.

Mechanical
The way this Corvette drives and the way it feels on the road are its strongest points.
This car seems to be in good mechanical condition. It is an exceptional driver that
is tight on the road and at highway speeds. The car always fires up quickly, idles
well, and runs well. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The brakes
are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. There are receipts with the
car that show that the brakes were serviced with a new master cylinder and calipers.
The car now has an HEI distributor with a mechanical tach drive so the tach still works.
Included with the service records is a receipt from when the previous owner had
the transmission rebuilt at 60,459 miles. However, the transmission does make
some noise, only in first gear, and the shifter seems like it could use some adjustment.
The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed as one can see in the photos.
This Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast. The blower for the heater
works as do the headlights, headlight override vacuum switch, and all the gauges
(with the obvious exception of the clock). The wiper door, wipers, horn, fiber optics,
and manual vent controls do not work. None of these items immediately affect
the drivability of the car and most sellers do not even know to check or would not
even disclose them. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is
to drive this car, especially with the top down on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition
Overall, this 1971 Corvette convertible is in nice driver condition. It is a great
value and we have priced it to sell. This car turns heads and gets a ton of attention
wherever it goes. Numbers matching is extremely important in Corvette pricing.
In my opinion and based on our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-
1972 are the most collectible in the entire Corvette market right now. The value
of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years. They are all solid
investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years
and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
