3) Numbers Matching 1972 Corvette Convertible 454 Big Block M21 4spd car. Total frame off restoration. Runs excellent, all new steering, brakes, all brake, fuel, vacuum, lines have been replaced. New rear suspension. new tires with Cragar SS rims. All new interior. Have new convertible top and convertible frame was restored but not installed as I have the hardtop on and like the look of it. Car was a Celebtity pick in Corvettes at Carlisle this year and was featured in a article on Corvettes online (look under the Carlisle article). I have numerous extra parts that will be included in the sale including the original center gauges. Opted to go with more reliable sunpro gauges for the center console but all harness are intact to install originals if so desired. Speedomodeter needs cable and back compartment doors need latches (I Opted not to install them as I like the look better). This car can easily be a top flight car with a few minor details. It is painted Ontario Orange but has gold metal flake added to it which makes it really pop with the white hardtop. Interior is correct dark Saddle. Car always receives constant attention at car shows or cruise nights. !972 Corvette Convertible Big Block Numbers matching 4 speed cars are very hard to find as there were only 3900 convertibles produced in 1972 and only 1600 had the M21 4speed. If you do the math it shows just how rare this car really is. BiN $35,000. december 16, 2015. 2) Real and complete 1972 Corvette Convertible with the orginal numbers matiching big block. This car appears to be an original un-hit body. The engine numbers is 12s504560 which matches the vin proving this is the correct engine for this car. This car is originally ontario orange, a very beautiful color when done correctly. It only has one repaint, a cheap fading whate paint job that the orginal paint is showing thru showing a nice orginal body. The car obviously needs work, it was a barn find that was last registered in CA in 1992. I found it in a barn in PA. the frame is solid and all the components are in place. It does have headers and Micky tompson valve cobers and those will need to be replaced with correct components. The interior and gauges are all there, the orginal radio is MIA. It does have disc brakes. The convertible top is there but will need a new top. I have not tried to start this car, but am certain with a little TLC it would start right up, however this car si deserving of a full NCRS type restoration. Numbers matching convertibles, with big blocks almost never come around. April 14, 2009. 1) PROJECT!!(DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE). LS5 454/270HP ENGINE. 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE. 1 REPAINT IN 1977. CAR HAS BEEN SITTING SINCE 1992. CAR WAS SOLD NEW IN NEVADA WERE IT SPENT 3 YEARS THEN ON TO CALIFORNIA WERE IT WAS DRIVEN VERY LITTLE UNTIL 1992 WHEM THE CAR WAS PARKED INSIDE OF A GARAGE UNTIL 2 MONTHS AGO WHEN I PURCHASED IT. I HAD PLANNED TO DO A BODY OFF RESTORATION. Colors from the owner. 119,100 miles. January 21, 2009. |
