2) New engine 350HP upgraded to 400HP. New carburettor. Handbrake inop; windshield wipers lack vacuum control regulator. new door hinges. The VIN is a 1972 VIN. Trim tag list the car as a 1969 (980 paint code and ZQ4). Trim tag has been changed. Therefore, original color codes unknown. February 5, 2010. 1) 1972 Corvette 350 with lots of 69 model looks to it. Runs and drives very nice. Paint looks pretty good especially at a distance, but does have some imperfections in it. Interior is in great shape as you can see in the photos. Recent updates include new tires, new heater core, new Edelbrock carb with automatic choke, new brakes all around including brake lines, calipers, pads, rotors, master cylinder, etc. All cooling hoses are new and fan belt and alternator belts are new--- car does not run hot. All plugs, points, distributor and wires are new. Vehicle starts up great and is a great driver. Engine has a little valve rattle at times which may need an adjustment. Not the original engine. Chrome bumpers are in decent shape especially the front. Rear glass and t tops remove and install easily for a fun ride similar to a drop top. I am not sure the original milage the odometer does not work but the speedometer and tach do work. The windshield wipers need some vacuum repair before they will work. All signals and front and rear lamps work including brake lamps. Tilt steering works but the telescopic function does not. Dual exhaust system and mufflers complete replacement 2 years ago or about 600 miles ago. 86,000 miles. Paint from the owner (980). September 30, 2008.
