Up for sale is my restored 69 Corvette roadster with 44k original miles. The paint color is 1966 Corvette rally red and in new condition, the original color was monza red. The interior is mostly original and in great shape, the door panels have been replaced with new parts. This is a car that I restored myself a few years ago, I have been in the restoration business for the past 25 years. It has been gone through completely and runs and drives better than it did when it was new. I purchased the car in 2007 from a gentleman who bought it back in 1971. He had plans to modify it and race it in the 24 hours of Daytona but never did, and the car sat in his garage from 1971 till 2007. The car was in a very dry garage and as a result has no rust at all, the frame and birdcage are in perfect condition, something that is hard to find in a Corvette. This car started life as a 350hp 350cid, but big block was swaped into the car some time before 1971. It still has the same big block 396 that it had when I purchased it. I had the engine completely rebuilt and installed a factory 69 427 390hp intake, it looks like a real 427 390 hp when you open the hood. The car comes with the original small block hood as well as a hard top that is in need of restoration, and I have the remnants of the tank sticker (build sheet). The car is a great driving car, I have spent hours getting it dialed in and running perfect. The convertible top is new and the top frame has been restored, it folds away properly and looks great. The car has power steering and manual brakes. There is no need for power brakes on these cars. The head lights and wiper door operate as they should. Everything on the car works properly with the exception on the radio. The side exhaust is factory GM and was on the car when I purchased it, but was not original to the car. This car is a great driver and is a car you can get in and drive not have to worry about braking down or having problems with. Short of the FM radio there is nothing to repair or replace, the car is sorted and reliable.
