Here is a super fine and very rare 1974 CUSTOMIZED "CAN-AM BODIED" CORVETTE coupe!. This is one of only 3 built by the highly respected "Sal Zaino" . The Zaino bros. of NY are considered to be one of the top builders of custom cars in the northeast and this is a fine example of thier craft. This car is a constant #1 show winner and a definate head turner where ever it goes!. If you are looking for vette that stands out from the crowd with performance that lives up to its looks, than you have found it!!! Take a close look at the photos and read the description that I've listed below. BODY: The first thing you notice is the wide stance of the extended width fenders and quarter panels. A closer look shows the scluptered fender lines that give the body a very european sexy look. There's a raised big block hood with custom louvers. Plexiglass cover headlights add to the Can-Am look. The chrome side pipes look as good as they sound!. Chrome "stingray" heat shields have been added to keep from burning your legs. When you look from the rear of the car you really get to see the bold wide stance of the car and the triple taillights look great. After you admire the beautifull "black" paint job, you will look closer and check out the beautifully etched rear window. It's just another one of the many things that make this car a stand out. Lift the hood and see the outstanding "star wars" theme painted mural on the inside of the hood. Custom wheels and Goodyear tires set it off perfectly. 255-60-R15 in front and 275-60-R15 in the rear. MECHANICS The 350cid/375hp crate motor (built by Bob Easton) has only 5500. Some of the new parts include Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock carb. New water pump, thermostat, altenator and wiring. New chrome headers and sidepipes. New power steering pump, radiator, and all new belts & hoses. The motor is coupled with a turbo transmission that shifts perfectly. The engine compartment has been painted and detailed before adding all the chrome goodies that you see in the photos i.e. air cleaner, valve covers, wiper motor, etc. As the photos show, undernieth the hood looks really nice and people are always impressed with the beautifull painted mural inside of the hood! .New shocks, brakes, stainless steel brake lines, and master cylinder were also installed and the chassis has been painted. INTERIOR Check out the all new, beautifull interior! There are seats! new carpet, new door panels and new (hand made) custom leather seats. A new steering wheel has also been added along with a new leather shift boot. Notice the CD player and speakers that finish it off. OVERVIEW The bottom line is simple! If you love customized "can-am" style Corvettes and you tried to have one professionally built today, it would cost you 6 or 7 times the amount of money that you can purchase this one for.
