| 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, Extremely Rare, 427 435HP L89, TRI-POWER, HIGHLY OPTIONED, Only 40,657 Original Miles, Matching #s and Documented! Ownership History: This car was sold in 1968 from ED Smith Chevrolet-Olds in Port Jarvis, NY to a gentleman who worked for GM on the production line. Then it was sold in the early 70s to another NY gentleman who was a friend of the uncle of the original owner. This gentleman owned the car until the mid 80s and sold it to another NY gentleman who owned the car until 2001 when it was sold to another gentleman in Massachusetts. I purchased the car in 2006. I have a current Ohio title for the car as well as a copy of the previous Massachusetts title. I also have current contact information for two of the previous owners. The balance of the interior is awesome from door panels, dashboard, to the instrument cluster. All of the gauges work and look very good. All the rear compartment doors work and function properly. The car also retains its original seatbelts (all date codes intact). The door glasses move up and down freely with easy operation. The date codes on the glass are still clear and present with no fading. The car still possesses its original Astro-Ventilation markings on the glass, in near perfect condition. The ddoor glasses are also free of any discoloration or scratches. I have a new date-coded windshield still in the box that goes with the car. The pocket that holds the rear window is still tight and not hanging down. The bags for the T-Tops are like new as well. Purchase Terms: At the conclusion of the auction, a $2,000.00 deposit is due. The deposit can be paid by Certified Bank Check, Electronic Bank transfer or PayPal.
