FULLY RESTORED IN 2000 SUPERCHARGED CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1975 MODEL. THIS CAR HAS BEEN FULLY RESTORED BY MYSELF, EX AUTOMOBILE MECHANIC, RACE CAR DRIVER AND ENGINE BUILDER IN MY OWN SHOP OVER IN FRANCE IN 2000 . THE FRAME HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE BODY, SANDBLASTED, COATED WITH EPOXY PAINT AND COOKED IN THE OVEN. THE BODY HAS BEEN SANDED AND PAINTED IN THE BOOTH WITH THE ORIGINAL FACTORY YELLOW COLOR. ALL THE MECHANICAL PARTS HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED, CHECKED, REBUILT OR REPLACED AS NECESSARY. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REBUILT, NEW FORGED CRANKSHAFT, TRW FORGED PISTONS TO MATCH WITH THE B&M SUPERCHARGER, I BEAM SHAPE CONNECTING RODS, CHROME MOLY PUSHRODS, TIMING CHAIN KIT, NEW HIGH QUALITY VALVES, SPRINGS AND RETAINERS, ALUMINUM ROCKER ARMS, 750 CFM HOLLEY CARB, HIGH VOLUME OIL PUMP, 10QT MOROSO OIL PAN, HIGH VOLUME FUEL PUMP, SET OF CERAMIC COATED HOOKER HEADERS, ALUMINIUM HIGH VOLUME WATER PUMP AND MUCH MORE....A "MID SIZE" CAMSHAFT HAS BEEN INSTALLED, NOT TOO AGGRESSIVE SO YOU CAN STILL DRIVE THE CAR ON THE ROAD, IT IS NOT A RACE ENGINE. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY HORSEPOWER, ENOUGH FOR ME. THE TH 400 TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN REBUILT BY PROFESSIONAL SHOP. A TRANS KIT AND NEW CONVERTER HAS BEEN INSTALLED. THE REAR END HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED AND NEW BEARINGS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. ALL THE SUSPENSION COMPONENTS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED, REBUILT WITH NEW NYLON BUSHINGS, KONY ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS. NEW CHROME MASTER CYLINDER AND ALSO NEW STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVED BRAKE CALIPERS, NEW FLEXIBLES, SILICONE BRAKE FLUID. A COMPLETE FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN DONE. THE CAR RIDES STRAIGHT. THE HEATER CORE AND AC SYSTEM HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED, PRESSURE TESTED AND REASSEMBLED WITH NEW HOSES AS NEEDED, HOWEVER THE AC COMPRESSOR IS LEAKING NOW BY THE SHAFT AND WILL NEED TO BE REBUILT OR REPLACED. IT IS A R 12 GAS. ALL THE LEATHER INTERIOR AND DASHBOARD HAS BEEN REMOVED, CLEANED, ALL THE WEATHERSTRIPS HAVE BEEN REPLACED INCLUDING THE ONES FOR THE T-TOPS, NEW ORIGINAL FRONT CARPET. ALL THE WINDOW TRACKS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AS WELL, THEY ARE POWER WINDOWS. I DON'T AND NEVER HAD THE ORIGINAL STEERING WHEEL. ALL THE ELECTRIC PARTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED INCLUDING HARNESS. THE AMP METER AT THE DASH QUIT WORKING LAST MONTH. THE CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN ONLY 3,000 MILES SINCE REBUILT, I BROUGHT THIS CAR WITH ME IN THE STATES IN 2002 WHEN I MOVED AND BARELY DRIVEN IT. TODAY I AM SELLING THIS CAR, NO TIME TO RIDE, AND I JUST MOVED TO ANOTHER HOUSE, I NEED MONEY MORE THAN THE CORVETTE. THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN A DRY STORAGE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS, HAS BEEN STARTED AND DRIVEN AROUND THE BLOCK EVERY MONTH, THERE IS NON ETHANOL GAS AND STABIL IN THE TANK. MOST OF THE PARTS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT AT ECKLER'S IN TITUSVILLE FLORIDA AND SUMMIT RACING IN OHIO. I STILL HAVE ALL THE INVOICES. AROUND $10,000 AND 500 HOURS OF WORK HAVE BEEN SPENT ON THIS CAR.
NOW THE BAD PARTS ARE : THE AC COMPRESSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS I SAID, IT STARTED TO LEAK 1 YEAR AGO, I SAW SOME OIL AND HEARED THE GAS COMING OUT BY THE SHAFT. THERE IS A TINY TRANSMISSION OIL LEAK BY THE SPEEDOMETER CABLE, I HAVE A NEW ONE, JUST NEED TO BE INSTALLED. THE WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED AT THE BOTTOM, AND THE RIGHT REAR CORNER HAS BEEN SCRATCHED WHILE I WAS PULLING OFF OF A TIGHT STORAGE SPOT. A COUPLE OF PAINT STRESS CRACKS TOO . I STILL HAVE 1 GALLON OF NON MIXED PAINT THAT I SAVED IN CASE OF REPAIR. ALL THE FLUIDS NEED TO BE REPLACED BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD AGAIN. A FEW PARTS HAVE SOME LIGHT RUST BY SITTING LIKE THE FRONT TOP SUSPENSION AND A FEW BOLTS. DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME FOR ANY QUESTION, SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE, NO FUN FREE RIDE.
