| I've owned the car for nine years, buying it late July 1999 as a barn find in east San Diego County. It is a numbers matching frame off restored 1969 427CI/435 horsepower tri-power (L71) Automatic (Rare!!!) Corvette. This car was frame off restored down to the last nut and washer in 2000 with the odometer reading 83,391 miles. The odometer currently reads 90,633. Painted in the original color of Daytona Yellow and trimmed in standard black vinyl, this car is an outstanding specimen of the era. The options on this car are the M40 Automatic Transmission (rare), K66 Electronic ignition, G81 3.36 rear end, N14 side pipe exhaust, J50 power brakes, C50 rear window defroster and the A31 electric windows. Everything works. Turn the key and go. This is a manual steering car that feels great at speed. The engine was rebuilt during the restoration with solid lifters and a slightly more aggressive camshaft. It sounds great through the N14 side pipe exhaust. This car is always garaged and covered and rarely, if ever driven in rain. I've routinely driven the car on 200 mile round trips, through various terrains with zero problems. 90,700 miles.
