1968 Conv. Corvette. 87,000 miles. Black Interior, exterior painted some time ago a med/dark purple metallic. Car is a nice driver. All new carpet and Seating installed just last year. Originally a BB 427 car, but now has a 327, 4 speed, runs good. Car could use a paint refresh but looks decent 5 feet away. Get lots of looks when I take it out which isn't very often. Needs new Conv. canvas top. Top frame is good condition. Tires are good, rims were replaced new in 2006. Entire suspension system was replaced in 2006/2007 at a cost of over $9,000. Heres what's good: Real nice chrome, Solid Body, only a very few stress cracks, New seats, New carpet, New compartment doors behind seats, ALL new suspension ($9,000), Paint is decent but was next on my list (Has scratch on lower portion of passenger door), Strong Engine and drive train..sounds real nice, New correct vette rims, Tires are good. Heres what the car needs: Shifters a little rough to get in reverse but worked good enough for me not to pull it out. Windshield wiper mechanics need to be rebuilt (can buy rebuilt around $400) never took out in rain so didn't need to repair, frame is good just needs new vinyl top (around $700 installed), Had all vaccum lines replace and still the lights don't go up automatically, works in manual mode could be boosters is what my mechanic told me.
