| 1969 Corvette Coupe 427/435hp. Project Car. I ran out of energy. Just about all of the expensive and hard parts to find to put together an original big block Corvette. I spent 6 years collecting parts for this car. This is a yellow with black vinyl interior 427/435hp coupe, optioned with 4spd M21 transmission, TI ignition, 4:11 rear end, Power steering, Power brakes, Tilt/tele, AM/FM radio, Soft Ray tinted glass, Audio alarm, PO2 hubcaps. This car has not been on the road since 1983 due to front end damage, otherwise a very nice and original car. I replaced the front end with a new Corvette Image ($4,100) correct press molded one rather than piece together old parts. A new radiator support was installed at the same time. The frame is in excellent condition and was checked and adjusted to factory specs. No rust through anywhere. The car comes with original gas tank and TANK STICKER. Car build date is October 18, 1969 and all parts such as engine block, heads, manifold, carbs, transmission rear end are correct and dated to make a numbers matching car. Body and frame ready for the body/paint shop. 427/435hp. 3963512 block, .060 over, magged and cleaned, ready to build. Cast date H309 (August 30, 1969) Excellent broach marks, build date T0922LR and VIN 19S731935. Pair of 3964291 square port heads dated I89 and I19, September 8 and 1 1969. in excellent condition and ready to build. Tri-power intake 3937797 in excellent condition with correct cards dated 981, air cleaner. The original 4 speed transmission rebuilt recently and has build date and VIN stamp on it. Hood and wiper door. Head lights, mechanisms and doors. Front and rear bumpers in very nice condition. Power steering pump. Flywheel and clutch housing 3899621. Water pump 3856284 and correct harmonic balancer. Exhaust manifolds 3880827 and 3880828. New crankshaft. Slightly used correct 435hp camshaft and lifters (was in another car for about 35 miles). Correct oil pan and oil canister. Rocker arms and pushrods. Original radiator. 5 correct wheels. 5 PO2 hubcaps. Set of chrome valve covers. Many other smaller engine and body parts. 45,591 miles. Colors from teh trim plate. Built date is O08. November 15, 2009. |
