| OK, FROM WHAT I AM TOLD THIS IS ORIGINALLY A 427 CAR BUT HAS A REBUILT 327CI .30 OVERBORE WITH A MILD STREET CAM. THE TRANS IS A REBUILT MUNCIE 4 SPEED MANUAL WITH A HIGH PERFORMANCE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY AND A 4:56 REAR END. THE CAR HAS NEW U JOINTS, FIBERGLASS SPRING, REAR SPINDLES AND BEARINGS, REBUILT CARB, AND TIRES. THE WHEELS ARE REAL ANSON SLOT SPUN ALUMINUM WHEELS FROM THE ERA AND APPEAR FLAWLESS. THE SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED. THE UNDERBODY OF THE CAR HAS BEEN CLEANED AND PAINTED. ALL THE CHROME IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THIS CAR IS A MILD CUSTOM WITH FLARED FENDERS THAT ARE SEAMLESS AND LOOK LIKE THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE. HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A FASTBACK BUT APPEAR TO NOT BE TO DIFFICULT TO PUT THE BACK WINDOW BACK TO STOCK. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES BELOW. THE CAR NEEDS LIGHT BODY AND A PAINT JOB (PAINTS FROM 1974). THE FIBERGLASS HAS A FEW MINOR CRACK BUT NOTHING THAT WOULD BE SEEN AS MAJOR. THE CAR ALSO NEEDS A CARPET KIT AND THE EXHAUST NEEDS SOME WORK. IT APPEARS TO ME THAT IT MAY NEED NEW HEADERS AND SIDE PIPES. Colors from the trim plate. August 14, 2008. |
