Car history:
This 1969 Corvette has been completely rebuilt from the ground up while using as many original parts as possible while maintaining the cars reliabilities. This car runs and sounds incredible. History: This 1969 Corvette was originally bought January 5th 1969 by a guy by the name of Robert Seagren from Los Angeles California from a dealer named Harry Man Chevrolet. I bought the car because of its paperwork and the rarity of finding a true matching numbers black on black 69 with factory air. Once I took delivery of it in Illinois, it went straight to Conover Customs for a complete top to bottom overhaul. There was an enormous amount of time and energy spent rebuilding and restoring as many of the original components as possible. During the rebuild we made a few changes to upgrade some things to better suit the cars reliability, ride and performance. Besides adding the COMP Thumper Cam and putting in a Skip and White HEI distributor we also added the side pipes, changed and added a Fiberglass Leaf Spring in the back and upgraded all the fuel and break lines to Stainless Steel.
