1) Here is a matching number 1971 Corvette that runs and drives but should be considered a project. The car has a matching 350/330hp engine and came with AC, Power Brakes and Power Steering with automatic transmission. Exterior wise, the paint is older. Has its fair share of scratches, nics and small stress cracks like any unrestored 46 year old car. That being said, the car still looks decent in a survivor type of way. Only thing missing is the lower grills which are a bolt on item. Windshield has a crack, side windows roll up and down and are Astro Ventilation. The interior is most likely all original except for the radio. It's all there but as you can see could use some refreshing or drive as is. Steering wheel looks good, center console and dash are all there. Gauges in center cluster are not working. All the lights work including signals and headlights. Headlights pop up but won't go down unless you manually push them down. Mechanically, the car starts up, and runs and drives. I drove this car on the freeway to get it back to my shop and made it with no major issues I didn't know about. As it sits, the car starts up and runs decent. The automatic transmission slips a bit on start. The gas tank had been recently cleaned out and carburetor blown out. The car has power steering which works after the car starts moving. The water pump has a leak. Has AC and is all there but I haven't tried it. Engine is matching numbers, Brakes work ok and the car stops. Speedometer works but non of the other gauges are working. I would consider the car to be needing everything gone over. Looks to have had some frame repair in the rear of the car and looks to have been done well. 57,429 miles. Sold for $8,800 on September 8, 2017. |
