| 1968 coupe. Not a numbers matching car. Has a 350ci engine and 4 spd muncie. Runs fine and drives fine. My plans were to pull body and do a frame off restore. I have replaced the steering box and the 2 front brake calipers and pads. Frame is in pretty good shape. Area just behind doors might need a little working if someone was doing a frame off. Bird cage is in pretty good shape. Just surface rust. Rear trailing arms are coroded. I have a set of 2in offset trailing arms and hardware from vans steel that will come with car (paid 500). I have the vacuum rebuild kit that will come with the car. The headlights work but not the wiper door right now. Body is fair. Needs a little body work (smoothing out and re-bonding one area on back) and a good paint job. Interior is fair. Seats will need restored. Does not have factory air. A new interior screw kit, offset trailing arms, vaccuum hose kit, new shocks all come with the car. I have a service manual and some books on cd I will send with car. I bought the car from a dealer with the intent of restoring it, but realized I don't have the space to do it. I ran a background check on the car and nothing came up. No warranty, it is a 1968 car in need of love and price reflects that. 82,055 miles from the odometer. March 31, 2012. |
