Re: YOUR 1969 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE This appraisal has been completed for your use, for your insurance purposes, and reports my findings and opinions concerning your automobile at this time, based upon my personal inspection completed on this date. Further, this report on your automobile updates, and is supplemental to, my previous original report completed on date of June 27 2006. The car continues as a “Tuxedo Black” coloured, 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, serial number “1 94679S7 14026”, bearing current Ontario licence plates number “AYVL 463”, and showing an odometer reading of 01,177. miles. The true, total life-mileage on the car is unknown at this time however the odometer does record an additional 1,177 miles accumulated during the past approximately eleven months. The car is not powered by a “Number Matching” engine. The car remains in generally “excellent”, and somewhat improved overall condition at this time. The body has been professionally stripped and refinished by Davies Corvettes in a base/clear “Tuxedo Black”. The paint work is of generally very high quality, as would be typically expected from Davies Corvettes, however there are some areas where dust entrapment in the paint remains clearly visible. It has been reported part of the work the Davies Corvettes technicians completed was the replacing of the right front fender, the lower front valance panel, and both inner door sill assemblies. The car will be completed with the fitting of New Old Replacement Stock (NORS) badging and insignia. The chromed, front and rear bumper assemblies are excellent. The technicians at StingRay Auto Tech in Mississauga have just installed a matched set of four, 18”, “FOOSE”, five-spoke alloy road wheels. The wheels are completed with “FOOSE”-script centre caps and locking wheel nuts. The wheels and all hardware are in excellent, brand new condition. The wheels are fitted with a matched set of four, BY. Goodrich “g-Force TIA”, high-speed rated, blackwall radial tires. The front tires are size 245 — 18”, while the rears are size 285/4OZR — 18”. The four road tires are in “Brand NeW’ condition by visual inspection on the car. The front engine compartment is now in excellent, full “show” condition with a high level of”detailin” being evident in all areas, and with all components. The car remains powered by its previously reported, brand new “Stroker” 383 CID V-8 engine developing approximately 425 Horsepower. The technicians at StingRay have now upgraded the engine from being carbureted to being fuel injected using an Edelbrock “Pro-Flo” ir system. Custom braided stainless fuel lines are now fitted. The car remains fitted with the previously reported, custom aluminium radiator with two electric cooling thns, Billet pulleys with a serpentine belt system using a top-mounted tensioner, and chromed alternator, and air-conditioning compressor. The air-conditioning system has been converted to “R-134” refrigerant. The engine also remains fitted with the cast aluminium rocker covers and silver cerami-coated exhaust headers. All visible wiring appears safe and the original, chromed ignition covers are with the car awaiting re-fitting by StingRay technicians. There were no oil, fbel, or coolant leaks. The car’s interior is excellent. The previously reported, freshly re-upholstered, black leather upholstery have been professionally re-installed by the technicians at StingRay and the seats, door panels, floor carpet and dash pad are excellent. The car is fully, Thvtory, analogue instrumented including a 160 MPH speedometer with integral trip odometer, and a 7,000 RPM tachometer with 5,300 Red. The car’s equipment remains as previously reported including the upgraded, five-speed manual transmission with pefformance clutch, power disc brakes with cross drilled rotors, upgraded, power assisted rack & pinion steering, tilt/telescopic steering column, fresh-air heater/defroster, upgraded air-conditioning, factory lamp monitor system, manual windows, manual seats, manual convertible top, AM-FM stereo radio, and day/nite interior minor. The visible areas of the car’s undercarriage as viewed on a hoist remain excellent and as previously reported, all suspension components and bushings have been replaced along with the four shock absorbers, front coil springs and replacement, single leal composite rear spring. The new, dual exhaust system incorporating two “Flowmaster” mufflers remains in excellent, securely fitted condition. The car starts easily and runs excellent with absolutely no unusual noise or conditions being noted from any of the mechanical components. The car was moved but not test driven as part of this inspection. It is my opinion that in today’s very desirable and collectible, professionally modified Corvette carmarket, a fair “Agreed Insurance Value” for this automobile, in its present condition, would be One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) (Cdn.) including all applicable taxes. ps. some power windows have since been added.
