| 1968 Corvette convertible big block with 4 speed. Red/with black interior. Trim codes show standard black vinyl interior and rally red paint. NOM with a 454/425 hp Chevy Gen V engine. This is not a NCRS but a good looking Corvette in good mechanical condition. The car was restored 9 years ago. Strong engine with lots of power. runs good. has good oil pressure. does not smoke or burn oil. 4 speed transmission shifts smooth and easy. power steering, and when restored steering column was upgraded to a tilt, telescopic steering which came as a option in some Corvettes. The frame and birdcage are in good condition. Rust is not a issue. Headlights work and they go up and down good, and wipers work, as do all the gauges. Paint shines, and looks good, but not perfect. there are some imperfections on back deck, and lower rear passenger fender. Interior is nice. door panels, dash, carpet, and seats all good. No rips, tears, or cracks. original radio in car, and original seat belts. A new black soft top has recently been installed, and the convertible top frame is good. no rust damage. Tires are good. brakes work good. Car is ready for spring. Just put the top down and enjoy. 111,800 miles. Color codes from the owner. March 13, 2010. |
